While Artificial Intelligence takes over the global job market, the impact of the evolving technology is yet to hit the MBA job pool. The latest Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) Corporate Recruiters Survey has revealed that while AI is not yet a critical skill for current graduates, its importance is expected to skyrocket in the coming years. Currently, AI remains second-to-last among the 22 skills surveyed.
The survey suggesting that AI is not a prevalent skillset among current MBA graduates highlights an important area for potential growth and development within MBA programs. While AI expertise is increasingly valuable in the business world, its integration into traditional business education may still be in progress. Addressing this gap requires concerted efforts from educational institutions, employers, and the graduates themselves to ensure that the future workforce is well-equipped to leverage AI for business success.
